About the Dentist
Dr. Joseph P. Buttacavoli was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. He graduated from St. Peter's College, Jersey City with a B.S. in Biology/Pre Med., and received his D.M.D. from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1975. He also completed a three-year program on Dental Implantology at the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.
He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Buttacavoli is President of the Northeast District of the Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is credentialed in all phases of Implant Dentistry, the surgical placement and restorations, and has been doing them since 1981.
